Hello! I'm Heather

I grew up surrounded by entrepreneurs in my family. While I knew that wasn't necessarily the route I wanted to take, I knew business was in my blood.

In 9th grade, I took my first business class and joined DECA. Not only was I hooked, but I discovered marketing and never looked back. I was the rare college student that declared a major and never flinched. I lived and breathed marketing by this point.

Fast forward to today....I’m the Marketing Manager for a Dallas-based B2B SaaS startup called Conexlink (MyCloudIT), where I handle all things marketing. You name it, I probably do it...and then some. I also am a freelance marketer. What can I say, I love marketing!

Some of my recent accomplishments include:
• Successfully developing a marketing internship program from start to finish
• Increasing organic website traffic 230% in 12 months using SEO best practices
• Aligning sales and marketing by creating a sales process using HubSpot

Outside of work, I enjoy CrossFit, going on 2 years now; volunteering for Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed business fraternity where I am able to work with students members across the world; and being an Executive Mentor for two current K-State students because I had the opportunity to be a mentee when the program first started.
